Did cooking make us human?
For our last 2 classes from the AP world history class we have been watching a Documentary about how did cooking help us? And how did it affect our brains?  We took some notes from the documentary.
The type of food that we eat controls our physical, our old generation has spent fifty percent of their waking time chewing, that's because they didn’t have meat a lot so they had to eat raw food, raw food doesn’t really make us full and at the mean while we cant eat a lot at once so the had to divide the meals so they can eat less but at more often meals. Couple of voluntaries went to a campus were they had to live and eat as the Australopithecus, they were their for two weeks, and they had to eat only raw vegetables and they had to search for it! , During this two weeks they lost five kilos and they weren’t able to continue, the scientists said that is they would continue like that they would die at the end because our body and brain is much bigger that the Australopithecus so this kind/ amount of food not enough for us.
Hunting and cooking was a "GREAT DISCOVERY" for human because most animals don’t eat mean because it is hard to get, so hunting was a great thing also the cooking, because first they were using fire and using fire proved money things, such as brain development, live in many other places and more and more things.
Some testing has proved that the Australopithecus didn’t eat meat from their teeth structure but the homo erectus did, they had their teeth and they tried to cut the raw meet, the Australopithecus smashed the meet without cutting it, but the homo erectus did! The scientist said that the entire human and the animals have features that help them to survive and if they use it wisely they survive. Another experiment was about the fat food and how does it effect the brain: five percent fat helped the brain to work normally, ten percent fat made more places to work thirty percent fat and here is the chock some places which never was touched started to be activated. And the last experiment was about two snacks one they feed her raw meet and the other it was feed with a cooked meet but it was totally the same amount it was more active. Cooked food gives us more energy
